TPE-based styrene and PVC plasticized applications on areas that require a superficial appearance and optimum elastomer.

Applications that require property read and / or medium-light are optimal for these compounds TPO.

 

The thermoplastic elastomers TPO have the following advantages:

Cost / performance excellent (density from 0.90 to 1.10 g/cm3)

Surface optimal for printed products of high quality

Absence of halogens

Capacity of high elongation and excellent resistance to breakage and traction

Good adhesion of paint

Good electrical properties

Good resistance to UV

Colour easy and good grip colour

Absence of plasticizers

 

The elastomers TPO may not match the properties of thermoplastic elastomers fully vulcanised rubber (type Santoprene) regarding the following:

water proof

Excellent performance at high temperatures

Deformation compression and internal tensions
